I spent the past two weeks working on some budgeting software using the DaftMonk Yeoman generator for AngularJS. The generator is capable of scaffolding many common AngularJS components. There’s a sub-generator for a full app, routes, controllers, directives, and services; there’s even a sub-generator which creates endpoints for a RESTful API.
Now that I’ve used it, I can confirm that it works well and follows best practices. It’s a little like pair-programming. Just think about it: someone else types a bunch of code, you get familiar with how things are structured, and then take equal credit when it works.
