Living With Your Dad

Posted on

This post has stuff about religion and a previous relationship. My perspective has changed

One thing is for sure. Living life with dad is never boring! Since we started living with him we sold both of our houses and got involved with Apartment Life; we became leaders at our church; I quit my corporate job and started a business—and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Both Mary and I absolutely love him being around. We spend time with him just about every morning, although sometimes we miss the opportunity. I’ve found that the days that we don’t hang out end up being pretty rough. He just gives us both a lot of comfort; just knowing he’s around makes things easier to handle.

We’ve been dealing with some big decisions lately and there have been some things that we just wouldn’t have been able to deal with if he weren’t around. He always says the right things at just the right time. If we need money he takes care of us—but don’t get me wrong, we still work hard.

If you haven’t spent any time with your dad lately, you should…your life will never be the same.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
