The personal blog seems to be a dying breed. At one time it was hip and innovative—a new way of doing life. But now it has devolved into bad diary entries by kids with awful grammar and a penchant for spelling words in ways that they were not meant to be spelled. Blogging started personal and then morphed into a business opportunity. Now for your blog to be a viable source of income you must choose a topic and become the expert on it.
I’d like to see more blogs with well written personal stories, witty social commentary, and a return of the manifesto. I want the funny events, random pictures, and interesting links from Twitter to channel Chuck Klosterman and add a couple thousand characters. I want Twitter Plus.
