Temescal Canyon Trail

Posted on

Temescal Canyon trail is an easy, family-friendly hike through pretty trees with plenty of shade. There was no waterfall or even water at this time of year, but the bridge where the falls would be makes a great place to stop for a snack before heading back down. We have it on good authority that the Temescal Canyon Ridge trail, which connects to the Temescal Canyon trail near the bridge, is much more exposed and thus warmer, so if you decide to walk the whole loop, start on the ridge in the morning and head back down in the shade of the Temescal Canyon trail later in the day.
