One of the major themese is how the Thessalonians were undergoing some persecution, and probably because of that a fanatic belief was formed that Jesus’ return would be immediate. Some believers began leaving their jobs because of this belief. Paul spends a lot of time clearing this up.
Naturally, Paul talks a lot about the return of Christ and these books give a lot of information on the subject.
