David Bazan’s Curse Your Branches continues to be one of the single most important albums of my life. His doubts about Christianity and the inner workings of his subsequent deconversion acted as a precursor to my own decision, and a companion after the fact. In remembrance and out of gratitude I purchased the album on vinyl and it stands as a token of demarcation to this day. (website, store)
